SELF-CATERING is about having control … of your time, of your experience and of your budget.

With your own kitchen, you can linger over coffee, store fresh snacks or whip up complete meals from ingredients bought at a nearby market.

Because you’ll be living in a real neighborhood, not the tourist district, you’ll be steps from local bistros, bakeries and shops that offer authentic products at local prices.

Most apartments are equipped with a clothes washer so you can pack light without sacrificing comfort and cleanliness. Even the most expensive hotel suites don’t offer as much.

And self-catering is about comfort … having space to stretch out in front of the television and the privacy of separate rooms if you wish, so traveling companions can get together when they want or go their own ways to pursue individual interests.

It’s Like Living There!

We’ll comb our listings to find an apartment that fits your needs inside and out, with the arrangement, features and location that make it easy to see your chosen sights but return each night to a comfortable retreat.

And what will you miss? Not a whole lot that’s worth paying for. There will be no doorman to hail a taxi and you’ll have to make your own bed (not always; housekeeping is sometimes available, particularly in higher-level apartments). If a nightly turndown is more important than discovering your destination’s local life and culture, this may not be for you.
